The Future of Parking Starts Now: ParkMobile Unveils Enhanced App Experience

Driven by user feedback, the redesigned app makes parking smarter with intuitive features and a refreshed interface

Atlanta, GA - ParkMobile, part of the global mobility platform Arrive, is rolling out a redesigned app built for simplicity, speed and smarter parking. Shaped by driver feedback, the improved experience becomes available to select app users in the coming weeks, with full North America availability this summer. With more features and streamlined navigation, the update helps drivers pay for parking faster.

Scott Booker, General Manager of Parking at Arrive, said ”The improved ParkMobile app is the result of years of listening to our drivers and designing the parking experience they’ve been asking for. It brings increased functionality that not only makes parking easier for drivers, but also supports our broader vision of making cities more livable.”

The new ParkMobile app introduces a suite of updated features and advanced mapping technology to deliver a more refined, responsive and user-focused parking experience:

New Map and Search Experience

With enhanced geolocation, precise mapping and an even more intuitive app interface, drivers can quickly select the correct parking zone. Searchable points of interest, such as landmarks and notable buildings, will provide better orientation, while parking zones are visually defined with clear boundary lines, making it easier to confirm they are parking in the right, compliant space. This is currently rolling out in major cities and will be available in more areas soon.

Optimized Time Selection

ParkMobile app users will soon have access to European EasyPark’s iconic time wheel, making it easier to set a parking session end time in a single, fluid motion. Whether using the wheel or a standard time picker, drivers can choose their end time upfront, while still retaining the flexibility to stop or extend sessions as needed, based on local regulations.

Streamlined Payments

An improved payment center will provide a central location for both personal and business accounts, supporting Apple Pay, Google Pay and ParkMobile Wallet as well as all major credit cards. Users will have access to a revamped solution for managing discount codes and validated parking directly in their in-app ParkMobile account.

Greater Control and Clarity for Drivers

The updated ParkMobile app gives drivers more control by making it easier to review and confirm key details, such as vehicle, zone, duration, and payment method, before starting a parking session. Additionally, Android users will soon see their active session displayed directly on the lock screen for enhanced visibility and convenience. iOS users can continue to access this feature with an enhanced design.

AI-Powered Customer Support

An AI chatbot will become available as an app addition to bolster ParkMobile’s human-led customer support, providing app users with fast, 24/7 accurate support.

Expanded Flexibility for Future Innovation

The new app also lays the groundwork for even more features, including camera access to participating parking lots, enhanced electric vehicle charging options and in-car integrations as they become available later this year.

Specific app experiences will vary by region to cater to unique city regulations and availability of some features, such as updated zoning and parking pricing, will be limited to select major markets at the time of app launch.

“The new ParkMobile experience is a significant step forward in our vision to make cities more livable through smarter, more connected mobility,” said Booker. “By aligning the app with the broader Arrive platform, we are creating a connected global parking experience designed for scale. This isn’t just an update, it’s the foundation for the future of urban mobility, where technology powers convenience and parking just works.”

About Arrive Global

Arrive is a global urban mobility company headquartered in Stockholm, launched in 2025 with the mission of making cities more livable. The company was formed by uniting well-known mobility brands—such as EasyPark Group, Flowbird, and Parkopedia—into a unified platform with over 70 years of combined experience (with roots tracing back to Cale’s first parking meters in Sweden in 1955).

What they do:
- Smart parking and payments — apps and services like EasyPark (Europe), ParkMobile (North America), RingGo (UK), Yellowbrick, and Parkimeter allow drivers to find, pay for, and reserve parking via mobile.
- Parking data — Parkopedia provides parking information and B2B mobility data to drivers and the automotive industry (partners include Volvo and BMW).
- Urban infrastructure — Flowbird supplies payment terminals, ticketing systems, and mobility solutions in over 6,000 cities across 80 countries.
- Data-driven urban planning — helping cities reduce traffic and reinvest in public transport and green spaces.

Scale: a presence in thousands of cities across many countries, approximately 2,700 parking operators, and a platform connecting millions of people with better mobility.
