Planet extends its strategic partnership with Flowbird to provide parking payments services across Europe

Strengthens long-standing commercial relationship. Enhances the customer experience through integrated card-present and ecommerce payment capabilities. Customers now enjoy a flexible range of payment methods, including all major cards, local payment methods, and digital wallets.

Building on the existing partnership, this new agreement significantly expands Planet’s role from providing payments gateway services, to delivering a comprehensive range of payments solutions across both card-present and ecommerce channels.

The partnership will streamline payment processes through Flowbird’s mobility apps, parking meters and transport ticket vending machines, offering a unified solution across all payment options including unattended terminals, EV charging stations and digital transactions.

Customers will also benefit from enhanced payments security and fraud prevention, offline authorisation and a dedicated Flowbird support programme.

Through the partnership, Flowbird is now able to offer a full range of flexible payment methods including all major cards, local payment methods and digital wallets.

“We’re thrilled to strengthen our long-standing partnership with Flowbird through this strategic extension to our existing relationship.”— Colin Close, Chief Commercial Officer at Planet

About Arrive Global

Arrive is a global urban mobility company headquartered in Stockholm, launched in 2025 with the mission of making cities more livable. The company was formed by uniting well-known mobility brands—such as EasyPark Group, Flowbird, and Parkopedia—into a unified platform with over 70 years of combined experience (with roots tracing back to Cale’s first parking meters in Sweden in 1955).

What they do:
- Smart parking and payments — apps and services like EasyPark (Europe), ParkMobile (North America), RingGo (UK), Yellowbrick, and Parkimeter allow drivers to find, pay for, and reserve parking via mobile.
- Parking data — Parkopedia provides parking information and B2B mobility data to drivers and the automotive industry (partners include Volvo and BMW).
- Urban infrastructure — Flowbird supplies payment terminals, ticketing systems, and mobility solutions in over 6,000 cities across 80 countries.
- Data-driven urban planning — helping cities reduce traffic and reinvest in public transport and green spaces.

Scale: a presence in thousands of cities across many countries, approximately 2,700 parking operators, and a platform connecting millions of people with better mobility.
